July · August · September
  1. Shipped 19 August 2026 · v2.27.0

The Anthology Atlas and the recovered back catalogue

The Anthology Atlas maps the whole conference corpus as an interactive graph, by paper and by co-authorship. Abstract recovery reaches back into the pre-Indico editions and the Anthology now shows coverage per year. Also in this cycle: the internship page, the Global Risks 2026 survey wave, the leadership announcement, and the ESSC 2027 announcement once date and venue firm up.

Q4 2026

October · November · December
  1. Planned 8 December 2026 · v2.28.0

The corpus in French, and the data behind it

The French Anthology leaves beta on a declared scope: the interface, the seventeen theme labels, and the abstracts of papers with at least one French-affiliated author, with a check that fails when an entry in scope loses its translation. The corpus gains an analytical export for research use, covering affiliation shares by country, thematic distribution and co-authorship, with author affiliations matched to the standard registry of research organisations and the theme vocabulary published in a form other projects can cite. The accessibility work carries through to a declaration against the French RGAA standard, and an annual French-language note on the corpus rounds out the release. The next conference opens in the same window: the edition is settled and entered in the conference data, the 2027 page is published to carry the call for papers, and the prize jury is confirmed in time for it.

Q2 2027

April · May · June
  1. Planned 30 April 2027 · v2.29.0

The 2027 programme on the page

Accepted papers become the programme for the next edition, with the keynote announced alongside it and the practical information written around what is actually arranged. The page agrees with the live programme NetSec renders from the same source.

  2. Planned June 2027 · ESSC 2027

    European Security Studies Conference 2027

The tenth annual conference, two days of panels and roundtables, run jointly with the COST Action NetSec and the host university. The organising group confirms the dates and the venue in September 2026.

  3. Planned 11 June 2027 · v2.30.0

    The edition joins the archive

After the conference the edition moves into the archive on its own, and the abstracts are pulled from Indico so its papers read as fully as the earlier editions. The next year's page is parked ready at the same time.

Under watch

No committed release, waiting on a trigger
  • Under watch Trigger · Indico exposes form state

    Auto-detect registration state from Indico

Blocked: this Indico build doesn't expose registration-form state on the public or authenticated API, so the status pill stays a manual override.

  • Under watch Trigger · NetSec coordination

Generalise the Indico sync for NetSec

Reusing the live programme sync on the sister NetSec site. Waiting on coordination with the NetSec maintainers.

  • Under watch Trigger · source research

    Reconcile archive dates and narratives

A few contradictory dates and narratives across the older archive pages. Needs source research before any contested fact is edited.

  • Under watch Trigger · a concrete need

    Parked until there's a reason

Ideas held back without a trigger: custom-domain board emails, a self-hosted newsletter, a multi-author CMS, analytics (the no-analytics stance is deliberate), and a multi-page member directory.
